It was remarkable day for every student and well wishers of the country to bid farewell to our Greatest President ever ..our very own KALAM or we respectfully call him the “Missile Man of INDIA”..He how had powered the era of India’s entrance to the Nuclear Powers…It would have been an unfulfilled dream without him to make India’s entrance to the team of TOP GUN’S who had Nuclear warfares. I still remember his full size foto in the front page of THE HINDU in 1998 when nuclear test was conducted in Pokran, a man with innovative thoughts and simplicity in heart. Even now its really an unforeseen dream for a man from poor background to become the first citizen of the country. But Kalam had proved that money is never a barrier in fulfilling ones interest. As he ever said “DREAM DREAM DREAM” its the first step to success …he had cleared way of being not only the most successful president but also he was definitely PEOPLES PRESIDENT.
Its really unimaginable for all the Kalam fan’s to see the presidential seat which was named for its shear factor of greatness being shared by the person least eligible for the post “Prathiba Patil”. As claimed by the new president supporters that a women president would surely make reforms in both to the future of INDIA and to the future of Indian women. But the charisma and energy held by the former President had definitely brought down to zero with the arrival of PATTIL. She is really lacks confidence and from time to time proclaiming that
“I AM NOT GOING TO BE A RUBBER STAMP: PATTIL”This proclamation itself says that she is definitely not gonna be RUBBER STAMP but give of the presidential powers to the Present Authoritarian of INDIAN Politics non other than the Congress President. It had been really a wise decision by the congress to nominate a puppet president for making “THE LARGEST DEMOCRACY ” under the authoritative rule of Congress. As years passed from the independence the purity in congress had eroded off to zero. I am sure the NEW PRESIDENT WOULD NOT HOLD THE EXPECTATIONS of Indians.
Its not that I am a supporter of the Left or BJP but had really wished KALAM to be the President , I think most of the Indians do feel the same. And really supported the candidate apart from the party he represents..I really doubt whether the
GREAT INDIAN DREAM ….INDIA A DEVELOPED COUNTRY @ 2020
would not be a reality without the help of great politicians, officers and president like KALAM.

thats true Jacob,
have you noticed that even the media people are not interested in portraying our president, at the time of Mr.Kalam , he had really enjoyed the media attention both of internal and foreign news agencies. It was a proud moment for India for having a President of such a caliber and being a well known scientist. But now none the media guys are interested, our present president. That too in country where media take those to the top who are real hero, irrespective of gender,cast, creed or religion.
