26th of July is the Kargil Day as Indian Army regained possession of Drass, Kargil and associated areas from Pakistan on July 26, 1999 Many Brave souls attained martyrdom for their Motherland to keep us still Independent. Remember them forever..we are sleeping peacefully here because of their sleepless nights at temperatures from 0 to minus values. Pray for them, and be Passionate on our land – Mother and Motherland is mightier than heaven.
- Indian Army is the only one of its kind to serve in highest altitude – in Siachen at 11,875 ft high
- Indian Army is the second largest Standing Army in the world (after China)
- Indian Air force is the fourth largest air force in the world (after the United States, Russia and China)
- Indian Army captured 71000 Pakistan soldiers alive in 1971 Indo-Pak war which resulted in the formation of Bangladesh. Later they all were released with no demands.
- India is the first nation to develop a Supersonic cruise Missile- Brahmo (in collaboration with Russia – as actual Brahmaputra and Moskwa)
- Brahmos possess speeds of Mach 2.5 to 2.8, is about three times faster than the American subsonic Tomahawk cruise missile. It ranges to 290km with a 300 kg warhead.It was inducted to Army on 21stJune’07
- Brahmos has no alternate in the world, and no antimissiles (even US anti missile Patriots can’t reach there) Its real Brahmastra !!
