Internet has been full with the iPhone 3G which had been through a great race since its arrival in market selling 6million units in just one year. And now on the second anniversary of iPhone Apple comes up with another extravaganza for the tech freaks with the stylish and fully packed iPhone 3G. The company hoping to reach 10 million unit sale soon.

This is what the Apple CEO Steve Jobs said in his keynote.

“6 million iPhones sold this year, and we are pretty thrilled with this, and we did figure out what our next challenges are. The next mountain we have to climb to go to the next level—3G…."It’s beautiful. It’s thinner at the edges. Full plastic back, solid metal buttons, 3.5 inch display, camera, flush headphone jack. “It’s really great, and it feels even better in your hand,” Jobs said. 3G is approaching Wi-Fi speeds.”

• Enterprise support
• Standby time: 300 hours
• 2G talk time: 8 hrs to 10 hrs
• 3G Talk time: 5 hrs (others are at 3.5 hrs)
• Browsing: 5-6 hrs
• Video: 7 hrs
• Audio: 24 hrs
• GPS: built-in to the 3G iPhone: Location services is going to be a big deal on the iPhone, it’s going to explode, and of course we get data from cell towers, we get location data from Wi-Fi, and also now GPS.

Its not all the iPhone had revolutionized the price tag of smart phones too. The fully packed iPhone is just down to the common in a price tag of $199 for the 8GB version and $299 for the 16GB version is available in two flavors white and black. Its not all Apple’s effort to capitalize the Asian market is very well evident by its major chunk of initial distribution moved to the Asian subcontinent. iPhone is launched in 22 countries on July 11th 2008 which includes our very own India and Indian Network ‘Airtel’. Thanks to Steve Jobs for putting India in his list.

And for Indians iPhone can be surely their next choice as this is available in a price range of 8000 to 12000 Rs which has been the price range for the average Indian. Its not long that every Indian having those stylish ‘appli’ devices in their hands, wandering on the yet to come India’s 3G Space becomes a reality.
