iPhone the wonder gadget for the common man, as it boom on the Internet since its declaration by Apple CEO Steve Jobs is gaining rivals even before its launch.Lets see the major iPhone rivals.
1. HTC Touch Diamond
- iPodesque Clickwheel and four buttons
- 3.2 megapixel camera for stills and video
- Virtual Keyboard
- Turn-by-turn GPS directions
- 4 GB of internal memory
- 2.8 inch touchscreen competing with that of iphone 3G having 3.5 inch touch screen
- Estimated price $700
2. Samsung i900 Omnia
Samsung, the Samsung i900 Omnia, codenamed SGH-i900, more details are yet to be released.
- Wide 3.2-inch WQVGA LCD screen
- A five-megapixel CMOS camera "with the latest value-added features, which include auto-focus (AF), face and smile detection and auto-panorama shot
- 8GB or 16GB internal memory
- MultiCodec support for DivX, Xvid and other video formats,
- Samsung’s Touch Wiz interface,
- Samsung i900 Omnia hyped to look much better than the iPhone.
- Estimated Price Nearly $300 (£140)
3. LG Vu
The stylish, all-touchscreen device will come in two flavors, with one of them CU920 sporting a mobile TV antenna and other one (CU915) coming without mobile TV support. Rest of the specs include:
- 3G (we guess HSDPA support is also on board)
- 2 megapixel camera with autofocus
- 3 inch WQVGA 262K color touchsreen
- 120MB of internal memory
- HTML web browser
- microSD slot that supports up to 4GB memory cards
- Estimated price $300
Even if you are impressed with the iPhone Killers and feels that these could be your perfect choice for you. It could be just you alone with that decision as the Price Factor which is gonna put the iPhone3G on top which would be the common’s choice. Rather than going for $300 to $700 iPhone killers why can’t I just go for the gorgeous iPhone 3G which is at price tag of $199 which cool and awesome features enough to stand against those high priced devices.
