I think the mouse will probably hang on to the largest part of the market share, because it is such a cheap device. Will probably only get replaced when someone comes up with a device that connects to your brain directly.

thanx Ron for that thoughtfull review…..even though many alternatives of mouse start popping up…once a suitable technology kicks up…then i dont think the mouse could override…just like lcds have kicked the crt market….

It will be interesting if the mouse goes away. I’m so used to it now that it’s hard to imagine not having one to use.
