Call of Duty: World at War is the fifth installment of the famous Call Of Duty video games (excluding spin-offs). This is a first person shooting game developed by Treyarch and published by Activision for Microsoft Windows, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 2, Wii, Nintendo DS and Wireless. The game is set in the Pacific theater and Eastern front of World War II.
This game throws out the rulebook of war to transform WWII combat through a new enemy, new tactics and an uncensored experience of the climatic battles that gripped a generation. As U.S. Marines and Russian soldiers, players will employ new features like cooperative gameplay, and weapons such as the flamethrower in the most chaotic and cinematically intense experience to date.
The game is scheduled for release in North America on November 11, 2008, in Europe on November 14, 2008 and in Australia on November 12, 2008.
