1. Remove Viruses And Spywares

2.Perform a disk clean up.
Regularly perform disk clean ups so that all the unwanted files are removed and no longer eat up your storage.
Step1: Click Start Menu and select Run.
Step2: Type “cleanmgr.exe†and click OK.
Step3: Select the drive and click OK.
3. Defragment Your Computer
This will place similar files physically closer on the hard disk to improve load      speeds.
Step1: Click Start Menu and select Run.
Step2: Type “dfrg.msc†and click OK.
Step3: Select the drive and click Defrag to start it.

7. Speed Up Processing Time

Step2: Switch the Control Panel to classic mode by clicking “Switch to Classic Modeâ€.
Step3: Click on the System applet.
Step4: Select the Advanced tab. Click the Settings button under Performance.
Step5: Select the “Adjust for best performance†radio button, then Apply, and OK.
8. Delete Temporary Files
Step1: Open “My Computer†and select your local drive (it is usually labeled as :C).
Step2: Select the “Windows†folder and locate the folder labeled “Tempâ€.
Step3: Right Click on the folder and in the View options, choose Details.
Step4: Select all the files that are older than the current date and delete them.
Step5: When done, go to the Recycle Bin on your desktop and choose “Empty Recycle Binâ€.
You can also choose to delete the Temporary Internet Files that have accumulated on your system
Step6: Click Start, then click Control Panel.
Step7: Select “Internet Options†and in the section labeled “Temporary Internet Files†.
Step8: Press “Delete Cookies†and “Delete Files†options.
Step9: You can also delete your history by clicking the option “Clear Historyâ€.
Step10: When done, press “Apply†and “OKâ€.
When you finish removing the Temporary Files, reboot your computer.
9. Enable Direct Memory Access (DMA)
The Direct Memory Access will allow data transmission between your hard drive and CD drive without requiring the microprocessor’s intervention. Those using Windows XP will not have this option set by default.
Step1:Â Click Start, then click Control Panel.
Step2: Click and open the “System†icon
Step3: Select the “Hardware†tab and choose “Device Manager†option.
Step4: List the ATA/ATAPI options by clicking the “+†icon next to it.
Step5: Select the “Primary IDE Channel†option.
Step6: In the “Primary IDE Properties†window select the “Advanced Settings†tab.
Step7: Check whether the “Transfer Mode†for “Device 0†enables DMA.
Step8: Also, check whether the “Transfer Mode†for “Device 1†enables DMA.
Step9: Click “OK†to confirm the changes.
Step10:Hence, click “Secondary IDE Channelâ€.
Step11.In the “Secondary IDE Propertiesâ€, select the “Advanced Settings†tab.
Step12:Check whether the “Transfer Mode†for “Device 0†enables DMA.
13. Also, check whether the “Transfer Mode†for “Device 1†enables DMA.
14. When done, click “OK†to confirm the changes.
