Dead Space is a third-person action video game, being developed by EA Redwood Shores for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Microsoft Windows.  Gamers step into a third-person sci-fi survival horror experience that promises to deliver the ultimate in psychological thrills and gruesome action. Set in the cold blackness of deep space, the atmosphere is soaked with a feeling of tension, dread and sheer terror. The player takes on the role of an engineer named Isaac Clarke, who battles a polymorphic alien species called the ‘Necromorphs’ on board a stricken interstellar mining ship.

 

 

It is currently scheduled for release on October 14, 2008 for the consoles and October 20 for Windows. The price of this game is around $60.
