One of worst thing I hate about Windows XP is the irrelevant notifications at every click. When ever I install an anti-virus that is out dated or unknown to windows XP or when I do not prefer installing anti-virus in my system, XP keeps on notify me with those annoying notification messages that your Anti Virus Software may not be installed. Lets see how we can disable this message. I will feature how to add you unrecognized anti-virus software so that WinXP will no longer show the notification again in my later posts.

How To Disable AntiVirus Tray Notification in Windows XP?

Step1. Click Start and then click Control Panel.

Step2. Double-click Security Center.

Step3. In the Security Center, under Resources,click Change the way Security Center alerts me.

Step4. In the Alert Settings dialog box, uncheck the Virus Protection check box click OK.
