Its all upto you and your budget to decide which one to buy. Lets see the best of the best three Gaming Consoles available in the market.

PLAYSTATION 3

Playstation 3 is the third home video game console of the Playstation series developed by Sony Computer Entertainment. The PlayStation 3 competes with Microsoft’s Xbox 360 and Nintendo’s   Wii, as part of the seventh generation of video game consoles.

The major features of Playstation 3 are:

• Unified Online Gaming Service, via PlayStation Network
• Connectivity with the PlayStation Portable(PSP)
• Use of a High-Definition Optical Disc Format(HD), Blu-ray Disc, as its primary storage medium.

PlayStation 3 is gonna cost you $499(€499) for the 20GB model and $599 (€599) for the 60 GB model.Sony has priced the PS3 at Rs. 22,000 for 40GB version in India .

XBOX 360

The Xbox 360 is the second video game console produced by Microsoft, and was developed in cooperation with IBM, ATI, and SiS. The integrated Xbox Live service allows players to compete online and download content such as arcade games, game demos, trailers, TV shows, and movies.



The major features of XBOX 360 are as follows.

• Play From Hard Drive: Copy your games from the game disc and play directly from the hard drive.
• LIVE Party System: Create a party of up to eight friends, and stay with them from one game to another, or watch a Netflix movie together, or share a slideshow of your personal photos.
• Xbox LIVE Prime Time: This whole new category of games is going to give you more reasons to get online with your friends.
• New Display Support:16X10 over VGA or HDMI, and support for 1440×900 or 1680×1050.

The Xbox 360 Premium is priced at US$399 or GB£280 , and the “Xbox 360 Core”, priced at US$299 and GB£199. In India its ranging from Rs.18,000 to Rs.25,000.

Nitendo Wii

The Wii is a home video game console released by Nintendo. A distinguishing feature of the console is its wireless controller, the Wii Remote, which can be used as a handheld pointing device and detect movement in three dimensions.



The major features of Wii are

• Wii Menu Operating System Interface
• Backward Compatibility : The Wii console is backward compatible with all official Nintendo GameCube software, as well as Nintendo GameCube Memory Cards and controllers.
• Wii system supports wireless connectivity with the Nintendo DS
• Parental Controls

The Wii would sell around $250 and in India the price is around Rs.27000.
