Sherlock Holmes vs. Jack the Ripper is an upcoming adventure game for Windows and Xbox360, developed by Frogwares. It’ll be the fifth game in the Sherlock Holmes series of adventure games developed by Frogwares, preceded by Sherlock Holmes versus Arsène Lupin in 2008, Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened in 2006, Sherlock Holmes: Secret of the Silver Earring in 2004 and Sherlock Holmes: Mystery of the Mummy in 2002.

The game will take you to London’s district of Whitechapel in 1888, where a series of particularly horrible murders creates a real psychosis throughout the country.

Sherlock Holmes vs. Jack the Ripper will offer the ability to play in a third-person perspective mode in addition to the first-person perspective.

The French version of the game is released On May 4th of 2009. A playable demo is also available for download. A specific release date for the English version has not yet been announced.
