According to the recent survey, Nokia continues to hold strong in the Indian grounds.
A recent survey conducted by Mobile Indian showed Nokia mobile phones taking a lead in “The Handset Hotlist’ for July 2011. Securing 12 spots out of a total of 25 hot seats, the Nokia handsets proved once again that they do rule the hearts and mind of the Indian consumers.
Among the top 25 hot handsets, Nokia C5-03 (Rs 8,600) took the lead followed by Nokia C6(Rs. 12,200). Nokia’s dominant position in the survey contradicts reports of falling favors among Indian consumers. The brand it seems continues to enjoy trust and loyalty of the consumers. Second to Nokia, Samsung handsets ranked high among preferred choices of mobile phones.Samsung with six of its models, including one CDMA phone, making it to the list.
While Micromax and Sony Ericsson stood at the third position with two of their models figuring in the list, a model each from Dell, HTC and iPhone completed the list of 25 most exciting handsets, the survey added.
Apart from Nokia and Samsung, the only other brand to feature in the top 10 is Micromax whose models A70 and X560 figure at eighth position and tenth positions respectively, the survey added.
