India has entered the elite club of countries (US,Russia and Japan) who have placed their flag in the moon surface. Moon Impact Probe(MIP) device a Chandrayaan Module consisting of Indian Tricolour flag painted on it touched down at about 2030hrs IST 14th November 2008.
