Grand Theft Auto IV is a action adventure sandbox style game developed by Rockstar North. GTA IV, immediately preceded by GTA : San Andreas, is the ninth title in the Grand Theft Auto series and the first in its fourth generation. Players take on the role of Niko Bellic, a rough-around-the-edge chap from Eastern Europe. The game is set in a redesigned rendition of Liberty City, a fictional city based heavily on modern day New York City.
